Linda Fordyce and her husband, John, have stayed in over 50 hostels worldwide. They love backpacking and the camaraderie of staying in hostels. They brought from Europe a determination that Little Rock would have a hostel to offer to our international travelers.
They have raised a combined family of eight children and ten grandchildren. Both have been long-time scout leaders, backpackers, campers, and canoeists. Both have been active in community service. Linda values the great educational benefit of travel. With a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Arkansas and a Master’s in Social Work from UALR, her experience includes public speaking, private practice as a psychotherapist, and teaching Sociology in a local community college. She has a deep interest in international and cultural exchange, especially through hosteling.
