East Village
The latest neighborhood creating a buzz near downtown is now known as “East Village.” Not so long ago, this was a run-down industrial area, but things are definitely changing around here! Located a couple of blocks from Heifer International and the Clinton Library and Clinton School of Public Service, it is currently home to the popular breweries, Lost Forty Brewing and Rebel Kettle. The Rail Yard is an “urban beer garden” hosting a rotating crew of food trucks. For the real-deal southern fare, try Cathead’s Diner and Calvin’s Soul Food Restaurant.
Future plans for East Village include retail, office and residential development.
