Arkansas Times Whole Hog Roast – Sunday, Oct. 1st
Sunday, October 1st – from 1pm to 5pm
Benefiting Argenta Arts District! Professional teams will cook a whole hog provided by Farm Girl Meats and side dishes will be provided by Ben E. Keith Foods. Amateur teams will cook pork butts. Flyway Brewing is the beer and wine garden sponsor ($5 per drink), and Ben E. Keith will provide delicious side dishes. Lots to eat and drink in a fun at Argenta Plaza. Gates open at 1:00; food is served at 2:00; winners announced at 3:00 and event is over at 5:00
Live music from The Wildflower Review starts at 1:15, and the Goodtime Ramblers takes the stage at 3:00. Walk around, enjoy the food and meet the teams to hear all about what they’re cookin’ up. Trophies are awarded to the First, Second and Third place Professional and Amateur teams, as determined by a group of Barbecue judges.
