Crater of Diamonds
Don’t let the photo fool you – at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, Arkansas the beauty is hidden underground. You can dig to your heart’s delight for real diamonds. If you find one, well, you know what they say, “Finders, keepers!” There is a small admission fee: $8 for ages 13 and up; $5 for ages 6 – 12. This gem of a park is a rock hound’s delight and is located about 2 hours from Little Rock.
